technical Manuals (TM)
The Technical Manuals (TM) or technical manuals describe materials (weapons, vehicles, machines, machines, etc.) and help in their service and maintenance. They are also guides on certain administrative procedures, as well as documentary works on certain general subjects.
Technical Manuals are identified by a prefix designating the weapon or service for which they are intended and a sub-number starting at 200.

The Field Manuals (FM) or instruction manuals detailing the official doctrine concerning training, tactics and certain techniques.
Just like the TM, the Instruction Manuals (FM) are identified by a prefix designating the weapon or the service for which they are intended and a sub-number ranging from 1 to 199.
